Coming Home: A Prelude is an introductory placemaking project that begins exploring the topic of ‘home’ and what it can mean for the residents of Chai Chee. ‘Home’ exists in different forms and entities, intertwined with other layers like memory, smells and tastes – for some ‘home’ is simply a place, for others, a feeling. Sometimes, ‘home’ is also a person. Beginning with four themed sessions, participants will explore the topic of home from different angles – such that each theme invites them to reflect, discover and express what it is like to come home.
